5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies two concerns for the 2015 Volkswagen Touareg. The Other component recall involves modifications that may leave certain vehicles outside applicable regulatory requirements, increasing the risk of a crash, fire, or injury. The Brake component recall involves a missing securing clip that could let the brake pedal pivot pin move and the pedal dislodge, potentially preventing the driver from applying the brakes. Waiting can prolong exposure to these risks, especially when braking performance is involved. A free VIN check quickly clarifies whether your Touareg has an open remedy and what Volkswagen directs an authorized dealer to do.
