5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies concerns that may affect wheel attachment, steering control, reversing visibility, tire integrity, occupant restraint, and forward visibility. Incorrect wheel machining could allow a wheel to separate. A fractured or damaged steering knuckle could cause loss of control, and drivers are advised not to drive for the specified damaged-knuckle condition until inspection and repair. A black camera screen, over-cured tire, improperly welded seat component, or low headlight aim can also increase risk. Waiting may leave a safety defect unresolved, so contact our team promptly if you received a notice or are unsure whether work was completed.
